My top 10 teams to watch

Now before I go on and tell you guys who I feel will be worth the watch this women's college basketball season, I want to assure you all that my teams to watch have nothing, I repeat NOTHING to do with the other host on the show. With that being said, Let's get this thing started.

1: UCONN

Of course Uconn is my number one team to watch. They are the most dominate team in women's college basketball to date. Geno and the kids have been to three, yes three straight National Championship games. With key returners like Moriah Jefferson and Breanna Stewart and the newest addition, number one in the nation, Katie Lou Samuelson, look for Uconn to try and make it four consecutive trips to the championship game.

2: South Carolina

How can South Carolina NOT be on this list. With Hall of Fame coach Dawn Staley in charge, The Gamecocks look to advance to their first ever trip to the natty's. Coming off of a final four loss to Norte Dame, the Gamecocks are looking for revenge. With senior Tiffany Mitchell and sophmore A'ja Wilson in tow, revenge may come sooner than many think. Don't be surprised if you see USC sneak their way into the championship game.

3: University of Tennessee

With the additon of Diamond Deshields, Tennesee looks to get back on track this season. Tennesse along with USC, will be powerhouses in the SEC. Holly Warlick has done a decent job in previous seaons getting the Lady Vols to post season play since taking over for the great Pat Summit getting there 3 straight times. Can UT finally get back to the glory days?

4: Maryland

Brenda Frese always had her Terps off to a good start. Will Maryland ever see the light at the end of the tunnel which is a National Championship again? Who knows. What I do know is that Maryland will look to take over in my opinion, a semi competive Big 10 conference.

5: Stanford

I can see Stanford competing well in a pretty stacked Pac-12 conference. I can even see Staford winning the Pac-12 as a whole. However, Stanford can't seem to get over the hump in the post season thus landing them in my number 5 spot.

6:Notre Dame

The fighting Irish are always contending for a championship every season. Despite losing Jewell Lloyd to the WNBA draft a year earlier The Irish are still a strong team hoping to prove their naysayers wrong.Notre Dame are looking to end up back int the National Championship game.

7:University Cal-Berkeley

I like to think of UC-Berkely as the unforgettables, meaning many teams, fans write them off as just another team in the Pac-12. I think Cal can be the sleeper team this season.

8: Texas

With Imani-Stafford Mcgee Odom protecting the paint, Texas will have the protection down low to prevent many teams from going driving in the paint. I think Texas could be another surprise team climbing up in the rankings. Do I think they will make it pass the first round? Possibly.

9:Arizona State

Asu hasn't been on anyones watch list for a while. But this year, I feel they will make some noise this college season. I wouldn't be surprised if they made the Pac-12 tourney and possibly even win the Pac-12 itself.

10: Duke

Last, but not least, The Bluedevils. Duke has always prided themselves as a basketball powerhouse and seem to prove that time and time again. Duke is that team that will never give up no matter what the scoreboard reads. They are a tough team this will give many other teams a problem.

As I stated before, these are MY teams I will be taking a closer look at this season. This seaons will be exciting and I can't wait to watch. Like I alway say, college basketball season= upset season.
