Elena Delle Donne Wants Out Of Chicago?
Chicago Sky star Elena Delle Donne was featured on the Locked On Women's Basketball podcast, where she discussed her thoughts on the up-coming free agency period. The 2013 draft class (headlined by Brittney Griner) will become restricted free agents in January 2017. During the interview, Delle Donne was pretty vague about her future in Chicago and referred to her current teammates in past-tense, signaling her time may be up with the Sky.
If things play out the way Elena's comments are implied in the interview above then this will be a big blow to the Chicago Sky. Not only will they lose their star player, but this will be the second time something like this has happened to the organization since 2015, when Sylvia Fowles forced her way out of Chicago in a three team trade.
