WAIVER WIRE: WNBA 365 Draft Day Coverage
STUDIO 171: The WNBA 365 Network is pleased to officially announce our 2016 WNBA Draft Day coverage lineup. The 2016 WNBA Draft will take place this Thursday April 14th at 4pm PDT/7pm EDT from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. Round 1 can be seen in its entirety on ESPN2 with Rounds 2 and 3 being shown on ESPNU, along with the WATCHESPN and ESPN apps.
In addition to the draft being shown live on Television, the WNBA 365 Network will be hosting an alternate draft viewing show from 4-6pm PDT/7-9pm EDT being hosted by our Toronto based Network Contributor Aneela Kahn (@WHoopsBlogger). Aneela has invited three of our 365 hosts to be her guest analysts for the evening. The lineup will include Network Founder and Main Host Callan McClurg, Co-Host Kristul Thomas and the WNBA writer from Today's Fastbreak Eric Nemchock will make up the panel for Aneela's Draft Day coverage.
Over the course of the two hour program Aneela, Callan, Kristul and Eric will discuss the draft in real time, breakdown each selection, along with taking your input by answering your questions and will be joined by players for interviews. Following the conclusion of the program, surf over to the WNBA 365 Network beginning at 9:30pm PDT/12:30am EDT for a full recap of the Draft with the WNBA 365 team as they recap the draft, give their team by team report cards and gear up for the start of Training Camp.
