In one of the most anticipated match-ups of the season, the battle of the undefeated Minnesota Lynx and Los Angeles Sparks will finally go down on June 21st. Both teams have made history setting a league record for most wins to begin a season at 12-0 (Lynx) and 11-0 (Sparks) respectively. The previous best franchise record was 10-0 Lynx (2012) and 9-0 Sparks (both in 2001 and 2003). Even with the anticipation building for Tuesday's game, many WNBA fans have voiced their displeasure about the timing of the game, which is set at an early matinee 12:30 PDT at Staples Center. Regardless of the bad timing, fans will watch anxiously to see which team will suffer their first loss of the season.
Both teams will meet each other twice in a span of three days on the 21st and 24th of June.
WNBA.com has done a great job of composing stats in each of their prior games to compare how both teams stack up against each other.

Prediction: These two teams are close in every category, so it's really hard to predict the outcome of Tuesday and Friday's game. If stats aren't enough, let's take a look at their previous head-to-head battles against each other.
Sparks overall record vs Lynx: 41-23
Sparks at home vs Lynx: 25-7
Sparks away vs Lynx: 16-16
Based on the home record for the Sparks, they are really dominant at Staples Center and it doesn't bode well for the Lynx who will play in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Even though the record is tied at Target Center, the Lynx are at their best at home. However, the Sparks are 6-0 on the road this season.
Final Prediction: Sparks will win on Tuesday and the Lynx will get revenge on Friday (June, 24th).
