FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: In preparation for the upcoming extensive renovations occurring at Studio 171 in San Diego, the WNBA 365 Network has announced it will begin a rotation of Main Hosts for a timetable of four to six weeks effective this October. The renovations, which were announced on August 11th, will cost around $20,000 including a larger studio space, improved internet speed, enhanced audio, improved lighting, background visual elements with the potential use of green screen, score tickers and more.

During the scheduled timetable of the renovations, the Network will be moving its main hub to a temporary location in San Diego. However, Network Founder and Main Host Callan McClurg will be stepping down from his main host position until the new and improved Studio is completed. Having hosted every Network show since the Network's original launch in 2014, McClurg feels with the ongoing renovations to his studio the time is right to take a step back and let the rest of the team have their shot to carry the channel to the next level. "I couldn't be more proud of my team's performance since relaunching last October. We've accomplished a lot, and achieved a lot from the 2 year anniversary, Draft Party and the 300th show, but now its time for them to carry us to the next level."

While McClurg is departing the Network's Main Host position during the studio renovations, The co-host team of Tanisha Stewart, Kristul Thomas, Reagan Patrick, Eric Nemchock and Marquez Anderson will handle the Main Host duties for Network programming, with Callan serving as a co-host on the Network panel as he has previously done on the channel, most recently on July 11th. He sees the new opportunity to serve on the co-host panel as a chance to not only catch his breath from the 308 shows he's racked up in the two years of his main hosting role, but also a chance to get a perspective on alternating roles between main host and a co-host panel member, especially once his hefty schedule of games for his main broadcasting positions get underway with Point Loma Nazarene University Athletics and the American Hockey League's San Diego Gulls.

He also credits the Network's rebrand and support of the broadcast team to continue to air Network programming during the time the studio is under renovation, something he says would not have been possible during the first year and a half under the LA Sparks 365 Network branding, notably the former broadcast team and co-host. "This wouldn't have been possible a year ago. We would have been off air for that entire timetable." McClurg recalls fondly the many instances where Network programs where he would have had to host solo or that would end up being cancelled at the last minute because of the former co-host and broadcast team. "Those were by far some of the most frustrating nights I had on the Network. We would plan accordingly during the day for a show, then the co-host would cancel on me literally five or ten minutes before going live."

Now, with a new identity and working alongside a full panel of co-host, he's able to breathe a little easier now whenever he's unable to fulfill the main host role during the renovation timetable. "I can't say enough great things about our Network panel, they've stepped up in big time situations, and they deserve this opportunity to run the show for a few weeks."

McClurg also hopes fans will continue to watch, support and interact with the Network while the panel and main host shifts from night to night. "We had tremendous responses when Eric [Nemchock] hosted the program when I was at the [Home Run] Derby in July, I'm sure the fans will enjoy seeing the new faces take over for a few weeks."
