Tina and Nneka

With the final day of WNBA games played on Sunday, we can now get a clear picture of how MVP candidates Nneka Ogwumike and Tina Charles performed not only in the second-half, but throughout the entire season. Here are the updated stats on Charles and Ogwumike making their case for MVP:

Tina and Nneka update 1

There isn't much of a difference from their first-half stats, but the biggest thing that jumps out is Nneka's FG%. The Los Angeles Sparks only won 5 of their last 10 games in the regular season with Nneka shooting a season low 35% vs the Dream. In the end, Nneka finishes the year shooting 66.5% missing the FG% record set by Tamika Raymond in 2003.

Now on to Advance Stats...

Tina and Nneka update 2

Again, not much of a difference from the first half. Nneka is still dominating the OffRtg while Charles tops the DefRtg. Nneka's EFG% and TS% remains high and Charles keeps the edge in Ast/To Ratio.
