Phoenix Mercury, Minnesota Lynx, and Los Angeles Sparks

With the LA Sparks winning their third title in franchise history, they have become just the third team in the WNBA along with the Phoenix Mercury and the Minnesota Lynx to be tied for three championships. So far in the league's 20th season (heading into it's 21st), there has been only one team to win 4 championships and that team was the Houston Comets from 1997-2000.

Setting the standard for the rest of the WNBA, the Comets were active from 1997-2008 before the team was disbanded. Another franchise that was close to reaching the Comets success was the Detroit Shock who won WNBA titles in 2003, 2006, and 2008. Sadly like the Comets, the Shock were also disbanded in 2009 (and moved to Tulsa).

Going into the 2017 season, we won't know what roster moves or possible coaching changes may effect these three teams, but in your mind who do you think will be the first team to win it's fourth WNBA championship?

Phoenix Mercury: 2007, 2009, 2014

Minnesota Lynx: 2011, 2013, 2015

Los Angeles Sparks: 2001, 2002, 2016
